PURE-ly Excited!
When my husband and I first moved to the Fort Myers area in 2004, we fell in love with the quaint, small town vibe the town offered. We purchased a home in historic Edison Park and our children attended (and graduated from) Fort Myers High School (Go Green Wave!) Having moved from the hustle and bustle of Orlando, this was a major change of scenery for us! Our kids insisted we had ruined their lives forever! But over time, they also fell in love with this town and its people! All of them now consider Southwest Florida "home" even though two of them no longer live in the area!
My oldest son, Brian, joined the Air Force and is currently stationed in Germany, but is over-joyed that he has received notice of a pending transfer to the Florida Air National Guard in Panama City so that he will be able to visit "home" more often!
My youngest daughter, Megan, went to UF, came home after graduation, and worked at Chico's for a while before marrying her high school sweetheart and (begrudgingly) moving back to Orlando for a work opportunity for her new husband!
And my middle daughter Heather moved away for a short time after high school but found herself missing family and Fort Myers, so she moved back and has been rooted here ever since! If you are in the wedding industry in Southwest Florida, you probably know or have heard of Heather. Heather and I have always shared a passion for fashion and creativity! Although I have spent my life in business, I have been a fashionista and a frustrated event planner for as long as I can remember! When my children were young, birthday parties were always themed and elaborate! As they grew older, their bridal and baby showers were over the top with tents, linens and handcrafted decor! And their weddings.....well, their weddings were my favorite! Who doesn't love all the cool details involved in planning a wedding?!
But for as long as I can remember, it has been my dream to open my own boutique! Combine that with my love of weddings and voila! PURE bridal boutique was born!
Heather and I are joining forces to bring a new bridal shopping concept store to this area!
Our plan is simple:
PURE will be an appointment only boutique in order to provide an intimate and personalized high-end salon experience that we believe each bride deserves no matter what her budget, including a celebratory champagne toast with each PURE bride once they have found their dream dress!
PURE will strive to carry only designers no one else in our area carries. We found many brides were driving out of the area to get the selection and experience they were looking for. We will continually search for and add new gowns and new designers who offer highly sought after shapes and styles but in new and fashion forward materials and designs!
PURE will be chic and stylish, yet imitate, warm and welcoming! PURE white decor accented with touches of gold will set the backdrop for beautiful dresses with one-on-one private dress shopping appointments for each bride and her party. With each appointment, each bride will have the whole store to herself and we will turn off the phones and lock the doors so that she will have our full and undivided attention!
We are also PURE-ly excited to announce that we are bringing our new bridal boutique to the vibrant and growing River District of Historic Downtown Fort Myers! Over the past few years, downtown has become a hip dining and shopping district and we are excited to be a part of its scene! We hope that if you or someone you know is in looking for a wedding gown, you will check us out! We also hope you will plan to make a day of it. Find your dream dress at PURE and have lunch or coffee at one of the many restaurants and coffee shops nearby! Check out what downtown has to offer. We know you will fall in love with it just as we have! You may or may not find your dream dress at our boutique but we promise you will have a fun and memorable experience unlike any other!
